I bought a lot of these and after 2.5 years of constant, daily use they are still holding up strong and will still work and look great for the next baby. I have tried a few other wipe options - baby washcloths, wipes given by a friend that have two layers and cheap washcloths sold in 30 packs, and all of those do not work as well or stand up to use over many years.

I use these wipes for both wiping up the child and also as an insert for my heavy wetter in the prefolds and they work great. I love especially how they have a smoother side and a textured side (sort of like a washcloth) and the texture really helps with cleaning up dirty diapers vs. a wipe that doesn't have that texture. Washcloths didn't hold up even for the 2.5 years of diapering one child and the layered wipes I have are starting to have holes after 2.5 years of one child - so these are well worth the price! I also would prefer something 100% cotton but I do think as the previous comment stated that they wouldn't be as durable that way. I rated the price as the only "con" but really since I can use these for at least 2 kids then they are better priced in the long run and work better than the cheaper options I've tried.
