Moby Wrap Baby Wraps
Product Rating: Product Review (submitted on January 4, 2011):I loved my Moby when my daughter was under 10 lbs or so. She was so cozy, all snuggled up on my chest. I found the stretchy wrap to be the perfect introduction to wraps because you can "pop" baby in and out, unlike woven wraps - it makes the wrapping process a little less daunting.
I'm expecting #2 and can't wait to snuggle the little one in my Moby again.
Another commenter mentioned that the ends drag on the ground when you're getting the wrap on. I found it easier to tie the wrap on before I left the house, even under my coat in the winter, and then just "pop" baby in when we got where we were going. Voila - no muddy ends!
One caveat: In my opinion it's not safe to wear a baby on your back in a stretchy wrap, no matter what the Moby instructions say. It's just too unstable. If you want to do a back carry, I recommend a woven wrap. And lots of practice with a spotter or over a soft couch or bed!
