Ergo Baby Carrier
Product Rating: Product Review (submitted on January 3, 2011):We bought our Ergo about a week into our first child's life, and we used it every single day for at least the first 4 months. With the infant insert (purchased separately) it was the perfect baby carrier, and it was seriously like magic for my son. My baby screamed like a banshee in his stroller, but would fall asleep within seconds of being in the carrier and would stay asleep as long as he was in it.
At around 9 months I found that my son (who was over 20 pounds) was too heavy for carrying on my chest, so I stopped using the Ergo. I know other moms that used it well after, usually by carrying on their backs. I never felt comfortable enough with carrying my baby where I couldn't see him so I didn't try the back.
The Ergo is so easy to use and is one of the best carriers for back support. It also has a cute sun hood that pulls out and helps to cover the baby while he's sleeping. The straps are easily adjustable so it can be switched between parents with just a quick pull or release of the waist and shoulder straps.
We have another baby due shortly and I'm excited to dust off the Ergo and use it again!!
