Great newborn/beginner Mei Tai Review by Lorraine
Quality Price Value This mei tai was recommended to me for a newborn on thebabywearer and I am so happy I purchased it. My daughter was colicky and hated slings - being upright in a mei tai was a much better option for her. I loved the feeling of having her so close to me. After she was about 6 months old and got heavier, though, I preferred using the Ergo and other soft structured carriers. So easy to use even my husband and my parents were game (although the men used the reverse side and not the patterned one ;)) (Posted on 7/1/10)

Love my Freehand! Review by CINDY
Price Value Quality I bought a Freehand Mei Tai for my latest baby, born this past summer. It has been an awesome carrier to allow me to have hands free for my 2 year old. I use it to go on longer walks and especially the grocery store. While it is not the easiest to nurse in, especially while out, I just nurse before I go and bring a pacifier to tide him over a few minutes in a pinch. It is a beautiful, well made carrier, and has fit my boy right from birth. He's 20 lbs now and it is still very comfortable and looks like new despite much use! (Posted on 1/3/11)

A must for all Moms! Review by Casey
Quality Price Value I absolutely LOVE this carrier. It is by far my favourite and most used baby accessory. It's convenient and comfortable to wear. It's easy to tie and can be switched between wearers without any buckles to worry about. It grows with your baby - just tie and go, no adjustments needed. I hate taking a lot of gear so it's a major bonus that the Mei Tei folds up into a neat little bundle and fits in my bag.

One of the best things is that you can do just about anything while holding your baby. Having your hands free is a great convenience and time saver.
Both my husband and I used it to carry baby on the front, back and hip. I used it right from when my little one was a newborn to just over a year. I would still be using it if my little one didn't want to walk all the time. (Posted on 7/8/10)
