Wool naturally absorbs 40% of its weight in moisture before feeling wet and with these nursing pads you'll find a super absorbent wool layer sandwiched between two silky soft organic cotton layers that go against the skin.

Organic cotton velour lined pads provide maximum comfort and hidden inner wool layer provides maximum absorbency. These nursing pads are approximately 5.5” in diameter, which provides great coverage. They conform nicely to the breast and are very discreet under clothing. They are also very breathable, which helps in prevention of clogged milk ducts and breast infections.

I started looking for an alternative to paper disposable nursing pads because I use cloth for my baby's diapers and it just made sense to use a non-disposable product for myself, as well. I did use a few paper pads at the beginning, because they were given away free at the hospital. These were just awful to use. They made crunchy noises when I moved and they were always bunching up on me. I tried regular cotton pads after these and didn't find them absorbent enough. Then I discovered wool nursing pads and there is no going back. What a difference! I felt confident and comfortable using these breast pads both during the day, and at night. It was so much more pleasant when my baby and I were snuggling close with having only natural fibers between the two of us. You will love the feeling of soft organic cotton against your skin, and I love the protection the wool layer offers. This fabric really is luxurious and makes a big difference against tender breasts.
