Absorbent underpads are designed to protect any surface from heavy fluid leakage. Sizes conveniently fits under mama's bottom or on beds, chairs and other flat surfaces. The waterproof barrier prevents leaks while the top layer absorbs.

Price Value Quality We went through many of these through my 3 homebirths, and each time I bought a few extra than the last. They are perfect to sit on during labour, birth and postpartum, and in the bed. During and immediately after birth, you can't beat the cleanliness and convenience of disposable pads. They are also invaluable to tuck in your diaper bag for a disposable change pad for your precious new baby when you are stuck using a public change table! Buying a couple of reusable underpads is a good idea for the longer term, but the disposable pads have a very essential use for birth and outings in my opinion. (Posted on 1/4/11)
