Fun, Cooperative Games for the Whole Family!
Looking for a fun game that teaches children the importance of working together? Secret Door is a cooperative mystery game made for children (but adults love to play along too!)
In the game, valuables have been stolen, and players have to find them before midnight. They work together to search through the Mansion for clues. At Midnight, the thieves may slip away with all the hidden valuables!
Children enjoy figuring out the mystery of what is behind the Secret Door. Because of the cooperative principle, everyone is part of a team that discusses ideas and shares strategies. Other important skills of memory and logic get a workout, too.
Each game is different, exciting and tricky. That's why adults like playing along! Get the magnifying glass, Holmes, and let's get on with the Case. Midnight approaches!
Includes: 12 x 12" board, clock cards, set of valuables, the secret door
Players: 1-8; Ages: 5-7
Handmade in Canada.
A review of The Secret Door from Miriam:
First of all, I want to tell you that I have four young and demanding children in terms of entertainment and education. I have to highly congratulate you on the The Secret Door (which my kids call the midnight game). The cooperative aspect was exceptional as no one could say "I am better than you!".
My four year old picked it up in a jiffy and the first time we played, we played about six games in a row and everybody was very excited and we had an entire storyline about the lions guarding the mansion and the thieves coming in the dark. It was fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful evening. (Feel free to use this as a testimonial...:)) Also, is there another game that has a similar concept as the Secret Door (i.e. the time ticking? I thought it was a lovely concept). Thank you again for your help.
