Nellie's Laundry Soda is perfect for cloth diapers. This is one economical AND environmentally-friendly option for laundry. All natural, septic-safe and safe for HE machines. Nellie's Laundry Soda is hypoallergenic, and leaves your clothes soft, fresh, and residue free.

Each bag is good for 50 loads (or 100 washes for cloth diapers).

Ingredients: Sodium Silicate, Coconut oil based surfactants

Also available is Nellie's Oxygen Brightener in a reusable, recyclable metal tin to brighten colours and whiten whites (approximately 32 - 1 tablespoon portions per canister.).

I received this as a gift from someone who knew I would be using cloth diapers. I am amazed by how well it works. It was recommended to me to use even less than the amount the package says, and I can get away with about 1/2 a tablespoon each load. Which means it will last for even more than the 50 loads advertised on the package. Diapers always come out nice and clean, smelling fresh (well, like nothing really), and we've had no problems with residue build up. (Posted on 7/13/10)
