Wow! When I was first asked to review the Maya Wrap baby sling I realized I was a walking testomonial to it's incredibly versatile and useful nature every single day. My son is now 2.5 years old and we still use our Maya Wrap almost every day. I honestly don't know what we ever did before I discovered this baby sling. Oh - wait a minute! I DO remember! I didn't learn about baby slings until my son was almost 3 months old and that first 3 months was just a blur. Dylan was my first child, and let's just say the transition from "all about me" to "all about him" wasn't exactly easy. It was tough feeling as though my entire life and identity had disappeared after one long (looooong) night of labor. Then I discovered my Maya Wrap. Boy did life change!
With my son curled up in his Maya Wrap, sleeping away safe and sound, I finally had my hands free for ME. If I wanted to houseclean, read, surf the net or even just make myself a sandwich, I could. Before my baby sling, any time I tired to lay Dylan down for a few moments to myself, he would wail and cry. My baby sling really saved my sanity. Even my husband loves our Maya Wrap! He will carry Dylan around the mall when we're out shopping, and when Dylan is ready to nurse, it's easy to switch from daddy to mommy so that he can get his fill of yummy mommy's milk. And one of the BEST things about baby slings is the fact that I could nurse hands-free. Gently draping the tail of the Maya Wrap over my son (and me!) My husband and I are now expecting baby #2 and I know once this new baby comes along I will have an all-new appreciation for the Maya Wrap. Value Quality Price I have been using this sling with my son for a month now. He was 12 hours old when I put him in it for the first time. He has loved being worn in this sling. It's soft, breathable and easy to adjust. He falls asleep in it every time I wear him and I get lots of comments on the beautiful colour. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the brightness of the colour. It looks way brighter on the website (I have the burnt orange). Overall I would buy this again and recommend this sling to friends. (Posted on 7/15/10)

Price Value Quality This sling comes with a booklet and a dvd to explain how to use it. At first it is kind of awkward but after reading the book, watching the video and trying it out a couple times it is super easy to use. My daughter used to need to be walked around a lot when she was just a month old. This sling made it seem not so bad and saved my arms from holding her for the laps around the house. She now still loves it at 3.5 months old but will only use it facing out so she can get good look at what is going on around her. She almost always falls asleep in it: :) (Posted on 7/3/10)
