They work... but they're shedding! Review by Bee
Price Value Quality These definitely cut down on dryer time and reduce static, which is great. But I've noticed little green flakes on some of our clothes and diapers, and the points on the balls themselves are wearing down. We've only had them for two months! I still use them because they work so well, but just have to get used to picking off little bits of green when I find them.

Value Quality Price I've also only been using these for a couple months and am experiencing the shedding. I keep using them, but I think they won't last very long if the shedding keeps up.
Would you recommend this product to a friend? Unlikely
I only got 2 of them, and have experienced some static issues with clothes, so I would recommend getting 4. But with the shedding issue, I'm thinking I should spend the extra money for wool balls instead.

Value Quality Price I use 4 of these in my dryer with the lavender fragrance sticks, and I love them! My clothes come out soooo soft, and the balls definitely help to cut down drying time. I use the dryer balls with all my clothes including cloth diapers and wet bags, and haven't experienced any issues with damaging the fabric etc. All in all a great product. (Posted on 8/8/11)

My only warning would be to not use them with PUL diapers or wet bags, as I have found they stick to the PUL! They could potentially cause extra wear or damage. (Posted on 7/1/10)

Price Value Quality I think 4 would be better than 2 for larger loads but this sure does help soften clothes with out using those horrible disposable static sheets that tend to be way to over powering in the scent department. I do like a bit of scent though and I was disappointed to find out that the scent sticks only come in the lavender scent which is not my fav.
