Using Stainless Steel Drinking Straws
Stainless steel straws are a utensil that you should treat the same as any other cutlery your child may use. So just as you wouldn't allow your child to walk with a fork or spoon in their mouth, please supervise your child accordingly when using a stainless steel straw. Stainless steel straws are considered cutlery that can be reused for years, just like a stainless steel fork might. Once you are comfortable with your child's handling of a spoon and fork, they should be ready to use a stainless steel straw. Please don't allow your child to do anything with a stainless steel straw that you wouldn't also allow them to do with a fork.
