FuzziBunz cloth diapers are a two-part diapering system consisting of a cloth diaper cover AND an absorbent inner fabric that offers parents a leak free, rash free and disposal free way of diapering. The outer cover of a FuzziBunz cloth diaper is sewn to a buttery-soft, microfleece lining allowing a "pocket opening" at the top back of the diaper. When an insert (included!) is stuffed into the pocket of your FuzziBunz, what you have is a complete, all-in-one cloth diaper. After you change your baby, you simply remove the insert from the pocket of the diaper and throw it, and the diaper cover, into your pail for washing later.

FuzziBunz are by far my very favorite cloth diaper. FuzziBunz require stuffing an insert into their pocket-style opening to function as an all-in-one cloth diaper. Without an insert, they are simply an empty shell or cloth diaper cover. You can use microfiber inserts (Fuzzi Bunz brand included with purchase!), cotton prefolds or hemp prefolds/inserts as stuffings in your FuzziBunz. Once stuffed, these cloth diapers will go on your baby just as easily as a disposable diaper. We promise!

Using FuzziBunz is easy! When you take off the diaper, dump any solids into the toilet. The microfleece lining generally prevents solids from sticking, and most will just roll off your diapers. For extra sticky, stuck-on messes, we recommend the Mini Shower Diaper Sprayer. No need to get your hands dirty with cloth diapers - ever! Once your solids have been removed, take out the absorbent material you have used as the insert from the pocket, and put both the insert and the cover into your diaper pail. It's that easy! (Hint...turn your diaper upside-down over the diaper pail and the insert will usually fall out on it's own!). Because Fuzzi Bunz work similar to an all-in-one diaper you do need to wash both the diaper and the insert after each use. When pre-stuffed, a Fuzzi Bunz cloth diaper will go on your baby as quickly and easily as a disposable diaper. Perfect for the reluctant partner!

Q: What should I stuff into my FuzziBunz to make them absorbent?

A: FuzziBunz cloth diapers will function at their best with a high-quality, properly fitted insert. To make this easier for you, all Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers are sold WITH their very own custom fitted Microfiber Insert. Additional Microfiber Inserts can be purchased separately for more absorbency if needed. This may be necessary for overnight, naps, longer periods between changing or for a heavy wetting baby. Microfiber inserts are trim fitting, very absorbent and fast drying. They provide the most absorbency for the least amount of bulk. When you stuff a Fuzzi Bunz with a microfiber insert they are almost as trim as a disposable diaper. For newborns or babies under 6 months of age, generally all you will need is 1-2 microfiber inserts per Fuzzi Bunz.

For increased absorbency, overnight, naps and longer periods between changing we recommend using super absorbent and trim-fitting Hemp Inserts either in addition to, or in place of your microfiber inserts. These are particularly helpful for an older baby that tends to wet more often and heavily. Hemp inserts provide the maximum level of absorbency in a trimmer insert than plain cotton would. Hemp Inserts have the added benefit of having a multitude of other uses. We particularly like using a non-contoured or "unshaped" hemp insert as you have the ability to get FULL coverage from end to end and side to side of your FuzziBunz pocket diapers. You will also find you will have less shifting of the insert if you have a particularly wiggly or active baby. The use of a Hemp Insert will increase the overall performance of your FuzziBunz considerably.

• Stuffed Bunz - these FuzziBunz INCLUDE a microfiber insert specifically designed and manufactured for use in Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers. They are a 3-layer microterry fabric that is trim-fitting and absorbent. Best for newborns, day use and light-moderate wetting babies.
• ULTIMATE Stuffed Bunz - these FuzziBunz include a microfiber insert AND a Hemp/Cotton One-Size Insert (12" x 15"). Our customers love these hemp inserts for their versatility - use as inserts, spare diapers, doublers and more. A hemp insert paired with a microfiber insert make the ULTIMATE overnight solution. These are highly recommended for naps, longer periods between changing as well as for older babies and toddlers. The BEST thing about these inserts is that if you buy them with your size SMALL Fuzzi Bunz, you will be able to use the SAME inserts all the way to toddler! We suggest buying at least one size range in the ULTIMATE Stuffed Bunz, if you are using Fuzzi Bunz exclusively. You won't regret it! (NOTE: The Hemp Inserts sold as part of our Ultimate Bunz package are the exact same style as our Hemp Prefolds EXCEPT they are regular cotton as opposed to organic cotton.)
• If you are already using FuzziBunz at home, or you would like to purchase additional inserts for more absorbency, Microfiber Inserts are the best microfiber inserts we have found. Additional Hemp Inserts can also be purchased separately in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.

Please note, microfiber should only be used INSIDE the pocket of your FuzziBunz as this material is too drying to be placed directly against a baby's skin. This is NOT the same microFLEECE material that is used against a baby for the soft, stay-dry feeling. Hemp inserts can be used directly against your baby. These inserts will complete your Fuzzi Bunz for a true all-in-one set.

FuzziBunz Sizing Guidelines

Please use the following guidelines to help you choose the correct size FuzziBunz for your baby. These are only guidelines, however, as all babies come in different shapes and sizes and grow at different rates.

• New babies need a size small FuzziBunz. The smalls should last until they are anywhere from 4-6 months or longer depending on your baby’s growth. We do not recommend trying to use a medium FuzziBunz on a newborn as you will likely experience leaks due to an improper fit. Size small is your BEST choice for a newborn.
• Medium-sized FuzziBunz will fit babies with either small or large thighs. They will fit babies from 4 months to 12 months or longer.
• Large Fuzzi Bunz will generally not start fitting your baby until at least 10 months and are of average size.
• Your baby may possibly go backwards in size as they grow. Babies will go through growth spurts, and then trim down. You may be using a large size Fuzzi Bunz, and have to go back down to a medium at some point.
• We do NOT suggest buying all of your Fuzzi Bunz at once. It would be safe enough to purchase your size smalls and size mediums together, but we recommend holding off on purchasing the large size until your baby actually needs them. Some babies will never grow into a size large, due to the large range of adjustability with Fuzzi Bunz and the typically growing spurts babies go through. As a baby ages and increases in activity they tend to trim down and may remain in a size medium Fuzzi Bunz for the rest of the time they are in diapers. Just imagine how much you could save!
