MotherEase Cloth Diapers ... durable, reliable & economical.

MotherEase cloth diapers are world-renowned, and how could they not be? MotherEase has been manufacturing cloth diapers in Canada for close to 20 years. MotherEase one-size cloth diapers are cloth diapers that will grow with your baby from newborn to potty training. With three size settings, you can quickly and easily adjust your diapers from a small to medium to large. The strategically placed snaps are meant to be manipulated to accommodate your baby's growing needs, and are reinforced for increased durability. The lightly brushed terry fabric provides your baby with a wonderful, comfortable and beautifully-fitting garment.

We've used MotherEase cloth diapers in our own household for years. They are a workhorse of a cloth diaper. While MotherEase one-size cloth diapers may not win any awards for 'cute' or 'trim', if you're looking for reliable, economical and durable cloth diapers, these can't be beat. For a trimmer system that is just as durable, consider the MotherEase Sandy's Cloth Diapers - the MotherEase two-sized diapering system.

Why you'll love MotherEase One-Size Cloth Diapers:

MotherEase Cloth Diapers

MotherEase One-Size Cloth Diaper - grows with your baby.

MotherEase One Size Cloth Diapers - economical cloth diapers that are made to last.

MotherEase One Size Cloth Diapers are the most economical fitted diaper we carry. They have almost 20 years of experience manufacturing cloth diapers in Canada offering one of the best, most durable and reliable cloth diapers on the market today. Available in unbleached and a rainbow of colours, buy our MotherEase Cloth Diapers in bulk for the best value.

An easy diapering system to use, MotherEase fitted diapers don't require any origami-style folding and pinning. These cloth diapers are an economical choice for the parents that want to use cloth, but don't have as much time to put into getting over the initial learning curve that prefolds entail. For less than $500 Canadian, you can use cloth diapers on your baby from birth to potty training with a system of MotherEase One-Size Cloth Diapers and MotherEase Air Flow Cloth Diaper Covers that is simple, easy to care for, and will last through more than one child, with proper care and laundering. Ask us how!

MotherEase Cloth Diapers - a leader in manufacturing.

MotherEase has been manufacturing cloth diapers since 1993. They have years of experience making cloth diapers, and it shows. The MotherEase one-size cloth diaper sets the standard for a superior fabric. Soft, durable and reliable - these cloth diapers are made to last!

An often asked question about MotherEase cloth diapers is, why do they contain polyester? Cotton is a very absorbent fiber but not very durable. Because the intent of MotherEase one-size cloth diapers is to take a child from birth to potty training, durability is essential. Cloth diapers undergo an extraordinary amount of abuse over the years they are used. Neither a baby, parent or washing machine is easy on cloth diapers!

The fabric used in MotherEase cloth diapers is custom knit specially for them. They choose to include a very small amount of polyester in the fabric's base to provide shrinkage control and ensure product longevity wash after wash. The fabric is knitted in a special way to ensure only 100% cotton touches your baby's delicate skin. With this perfect combination of strength and durability, the result is a very reliable product. The MotherEase one-size cloth diaper is one of the most durable cloth diapers we offer.

MotherEase cloth diapers are available in both unbleached and fun colours. The fabrics and bindings are custom dyed using low impact synthetic dyes. Low impact dyes have been classified by the Oeko Tex 100 standard as eco-friendly. Low impact dyes do not contain toxic chemicals, require less rinsing and have a high absorption rate in fabric (less waste in the dyeing process). This is the dye of choice for many organic clothing manufacturers that want a diverse set of colours.

The inside panel of all the MotherEase cloth diapers colours remains light coloured for hygienic reasons (stool examination and urine concentration levels can be compared between diaper changes).

Frequently Asked Questions about MotherEase Cloth Diapers

Q: Is a Cloth Diaper Cover required with MotherEase cloth diapers?

A: Yes. MotherEase cloth diapers are made of an absorbent fabric inside and out, however they are not waterproof. This is where your cloth diaper covers come in. You require a waterproof exterior in order to prevent leaks and help contain any mess inside of your MotherEase cloth diapers. We highly suggest the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap for a perfect and trim fit, or a wool diaper cover for a completely natural system.

MotherEase One-Size Cloth Diapers - durable, reliable & worth every penny (a review).

I've actually been using MotherEase cloth diapers for a very long time. I started out with MotherEase back in 2001 with my oldest (he's now 8 years old!). I absolutely love the quality and reliability of these diapers. There is nothing like them. I knew when we initially invested in cloth diapers my husband and I hoped to have more children, so we were looking for diapers that would stand the test of time. Our MotherEase cloth diapers are still going strong after two children. We're now diapering our third and while they are starting to look a bit worn, they are holding up amazing well considering the constant use and abuse we've put them through. I am anything but 'gentle' with the care and washing of our diapers and our MotherEase one-size diapers are taking it.

I'm now diapering a new baby and I'm impressed yet again at how well MotherEase one-size diapers fit and function. While a bit bulky on my newborn, by the time she was a few weeks old the one-size cloth diapers were fitting her well. With my great fitting diaper covers (MotherEase Air Flows, of course!) we've never, ever had a leak. My husband is very pleased about that!

I've tried various other styles of cloth diapers over the years and one reason I always go back to MotherEase cloth diapers is that they do not retain odors like many synthetic diapers do. They always look and smell clean out of the wash. Consider the savings with using MotherEase cloth diapers after three children, we couldn't be happier with our choice to use cloth. These cloth diapers are worth every penny!

  1. My number 1 cloth diaper Review by Kristen

Without a doubt my favourite cloth diaper. Sizing is easily adjustable. I find with other similar styles that say they just need a tight cover, I have to use pins or they end up around his knees, but not with these! The price is right. I bought some for myself, and was fortunate enough to have a friend who is finishing with diapers and she passed some along - they stand up well to repeated use and washing. They dry without any problems. No leaks. Soft and stretchy. Baby is happy in them. I also love the covers by the same company, but others could be used I'm sure. If you're unsure about cloth diapers, try these and I hope you'll be convinced! They're wonderful. (Posted on 7/6/10)

  2. Great diaper Review by Eleanor

Used these for years with multiple children, and still going strong. These were our everyday diapers for the majority of their diaper time. We really like the snaps, and that they could be used as training pants as they got older. My youngest is 27 lbs at 19 months and is reaching the end of the size limit now.

I would recommend these to anyone looking for a really hardy diaper that is very convenient to size. Loved these for EC because of the easy-on easy-off standing up (just like training pants). Only downsides: 1. you'll be (rinsing) poop out of these. Terrycloth=large surface for solids to stick.; and 2. we line-dried ours and found that they were really stiff, to the point of making the kid uncomfortable as the terrycloth dried in strange stiff configurations. Never an issue in the drier, of course.

A note from the bynature.ca team: Please don't hesitate to contact us with trouble such as stiff diapers or washing difficulties. We have worked with many parents over the years, and often issues related to washing can be solved with some diagnosis of your day-to-day washing routine. (Posted on 1/2/11)

  3. Best fitted diaper, hands down Review by CINDY

These work great for EC, or full-time diapering and are a bulletproof, trim option for any baby. I used these for 4 of my 5 kids and they were still good enough to resell. They also work great for potty learning (Sandy's do as well). If I had to recommend one fitted diaper for someone to buy to last through all their kiddos, this would be it. I paired with the snap airflow covers and never ever had a leak. The colours were not available when I used them, but are adorable! (Posted on 1/3/11)

  4. Best one-size fitteds on the market Review by Aimee

I LOVE THESE DIAPERS. I have the one-size complete package (enough for 3 days of diapering), and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality. My daughter is 7 months and big for her age (22 lbs), and these diapers fit her chunky thighs really well. They wash really beautifully, and I haven't had any colour fading yet (I got aqua and orange coloured diapers - super cute!). Overall, they are a soft, durable, high-quality product.

The covers are absolutely AMAZING. I had tried Bummis and Flip covers with our cloth diaper service, but found I had to be very diligent about making sure the cover was totally dry before using it, and we could never get through the night without leaking. Now, with a MotherEase one-size, a soaker pad, and an Air Flow cover, we never, ever, ever have leaks. We can even go 12 hours at night without changing her. Even my daycare provider is blown away by these diapers, and she has been in the business of babies for 20 years! I wish I had found these diapers sooner, and I look forward to using them for many years.

My only critiques are that the one-size format makes them a little bulky on a smaller baby (maybe less than 15lbs), so if you're really set on a trim fit, you might want something else. And the prints available on the AirFlow covers are a little outdated. Hopefully they make more modern prints, without changing the product! (Posted on 10/28/11)

  5. Not my fave fitteds Review by Tara

Not bad, but not my favorite fitted diaper. Fit is okay. I find other diapers with materials such as OBV (organic bamboo velour) absorb more for my heavy wetter. Still, a good priced, quality diaper. (Posted on 12/31/10)

  6. Not what I expected Review by Mom of a 10 month old
    Price
    Value
    Quality

I bought these for my little guy when he was born. Could not use them right away, because they just felt too bulky. Liked how soft they were and loved the snaps (Velcro can be a real pain - I had one diaper scratch baby's skin because of the poor placement of the Velcro bands). For the first two months of use they were ok, but it was such a bother with the inserts and the separate waterproof cover! Then, after washing the diapers frequently the fabric lost its softness! Honestly, I touched the diaper one day I thought there is no way I would want to wear that myself. So I went out and got fuzzy bunz diapers - a lot more expensive, BUT it is all-in-one design, super soft, holds moisture beautifully and I have never regretted the switch.

A note from the bynature.ca family: Thanks for leaving your review! Hardness in a diaper can often mean residue from detergent is being left behind during washing. Please don't hesitate to contact us so we can work with you to tweak your wash routine and help get your diapers soft again. (Posted on 3/12/13)
