They are perfect when set in any style fitted cloth diaper or prefold for increased absorbency, or as an additional absorbent layer to any pocket diaper. A doubler is the perfect accessory for overnights, naps or a heavy-wetting baby. They can also be used to line your cloth diapers when a baby is on medication or the use of a diaper cream is necessary to prevent build-up or residue from effecting your cloth diapers.

These Hemp Doublers are a fabulous, highly absorbent insert made from the highest quality hemp/ORGANIC cotton French terry. Our Super Absorbent cloth diaper doublers have 4-layers of hemp/cotton and our Microfleece-topped doublers have 3-layers of hemp/cotton and one layer of super soft microfleece. Both measure 13.5" long and are bone shaped so that you have the added absorbency in all the right places without the bulk between the legs.

Our Hemp/ORGANIC Cotton Doublers are also available in a fleece-topped version. Topped with a layer of Malden Mills micro fleece, this material will aid in wicking away wetness from your baby's bottom keeping your little one feeling dry and comfortable all night long. These fleece-topped doublers are made of 3 layers of thick and thirsty hemp/organic cotton French terry topped with a single layer of this high-quality and scrupulously soft micro fleece. How to use our Hemp Doublers in Pocket Cloth Diapers

Q: Can our Hemp Doublers be used as a Pocket Diaper Insert??
A: Our hemp doublers can be used to increase the absorbency inside of a pocket-style cloth diaper, however, when used inside of a pocket cloth diaper an insert specifically designed for this purpose will still be required. Due to the bone shape of these doublers, they will not reach to the edges of your pocket diapers adequately to prevent leaking on their own. They will work wonderfully to increase the absorbency of any other insert you are currently using, but will not fit properly on their own. For a Hemp/ORGANC cotton insert than will function as BOTH an insert and a doubler, try our Hemp Stuffers, our incredibly versatile hemp doublers which also feature a QUICK-DRY design, or our favorite for doing it ALL, our Hemp Prefold Inserts. The hemp stuffers, however, do not feature the same trim, contoured shape or STAY-DRY attributes as these Hemp Doublers offer.
Available in two styles, our Hemp Doublers are designed to fit trim and reduce bulk for your baby. Our fleece-topped option will keep your baby feeling dry ALL NIGHT LONG. Both styles are constructed with 55% hemp fleece and 45% ORGANIC cotton. Please note, color of surging and fleece will vary based on availabilty. Made in Canada. Price Value Quality We found ourselves using disposable diapers but we were able to tuck these inside a size 5 to help prevent overnight leaks. From the picture I had expected two of these per package but I guess the picture is just showing the two styles. A good night's sleep is worth almost any price so I still consider this a good value. And they are very well made. A year later they still look almost new. (Posted on 11/25/11)

Price Value Quality I think I would use these more if they were a rectangle instead of bone-shaped. It's great to stuff inside a pocket diaper or lay on top of my prefold in a Whisper Wrap. But I would love it more if I could use it on it's own. I like that it is all sown together and doesn't need to be folded like the hemp square for when I am in a hurry. But if I had to choose just one of those I'd pick the square hemp liner as it has more uses and can be used on it's own. I really like the fleece on top as it keeps it nice and soft if I want to lay it on top of my prefold. (Posted on 6/12/10)

Price Value Quality I have two of these doublers, and find them extremely useful. I purchased the ones with fleece on top and use it on top of my prefolds, put it on baby and I don't have to change her diaper during the night even though she's a heavy wetter. I use them with a Mother-ease cover as they seem to be large enough to contain a prefold and this doubler perfectly. Wish we had more of these! (Posted on 1/3/11)

Price Value Quality For the first 2 years, we used these at night inside our Happy Heiny's - (with a regular insert too). Our boy was a good sleeper, so it was important to us that he not wake up just because he was wet, and these worked very well. They don't add a lot of bulk, but they absorb a lot. I liked the bone shape for this - I think it cut down on bulk.
Would you recommend this product to a friend? Without hesitation!
It was only when we got to 2 years that they stopped working - we tried 2 at night, plus other inserts, but I think that the problem was the Pocket diapers just couldn't handle heavy flooding.
However, they served us well, and have since been handed down to my nephew. They were great! (Posted on 1/4/11)
