  • Size - approximately 8"x8", a perfect fit for hands. Fold in half for cloth wipes containers.
  • Wipes make terrific small boosters or doublers for newborn diapers. No extra cost, and no wasted space on the changing table. Such a deal!
  • Other Uses: Wash cloths; Burp cloths; tuck at neck for an instant bib; excellent as travelling towels; use to clean up eating messes, drooling mouths, and almost anything else you can think of!

Price is for a pack of twelve (12) cloth wipes. Wipes are approximately 8"x8" square (pre-washed).

  1. The best wipe for those big messes Review by Shauna

I ordered 6 of these to help me get to free shipping. We had a good stash of bamboo wipes (that we thought were great) with our first. With another one on the way, I was looking to replace the ones that had gone astray.

It only takes one of these wipes to clean up big messes. They really do grip the mess and the smooth side scrubs up the rest. I'm getting another 6 and ordering some as shower gifts for friends. We'll save these for the big jobs and use the bamboo ones on the easier ones. (Posted on 9/14/10)

  2. A million times better than disposable wipes Review by Mellissa

I bought two packages of these to try. I was committed to cloth diapering, and thought why not cloth wipes as well. I'm converted!

They are a great size even for the biggest of messes. Like other reviewers I agree the two textures are great. And I appreciate they wash easily, it's true they take 2-3 washes to get absorbent.

I use these with the wipe warmer. It's so easy. I add a little water, dampen the cloths and we're ready to start using them. I found wipe solution recipes, but never gave them a try. Occasionally a drop or two of lavender essential oil gets added to the water when I really want to get fancy.

I throw these in my diaper pail and wash every 2 days; diapers and wipes. It couldn't be easier. Even my husband, who was reluctant to cloth diaper, swears by cloth wipes. We both agree they are a million times better than ANY disposable wipe we've used (this is baby #2). In fact, I only use my disposable wipes to wipe down tables and hands when we are out and about. A real mess definitely needs one of those wipes! (Posted on 3/22/12)

  3. These are fantastic, once you own them you don't want to use anything else. Review by Paul

We have seven dozen of these cloths. They are great.

Like prefolds, these have to be washed several times to achieve full absorbency but after that they are perfect. Take those dollar store "mouse fur" terry wipes that you were given at your baby shower and relegate them to your diaper bag or the care givers house. You won't be sorry for the investment. 4. Best wipes I've tried Review by Mom3
    Price

    Quality

I bought a lot of these and after 2.5 years of constant, daily use they are still holding up strong and will still work and look great for the next baby. I have tried a few other wipe options - baby washcloths, wipes given by a friend that have two layers and cheap washcloths sold in 30 packs, and all of those do not work as well or stand up to use over many years.

I use these wipes for both wiping up the child and also as an insert for my heavy wetter in the prefolds and they work great. I love especially how they have a smoother side and a textured side (sort of like a washcloth) and the texture really helps with cleaning up dirty diapers vs. a wipe that doesn't have that texture. Washcloths didn't hold up even for the 2.5 years of diapering one child and the layered wipes I have are starting to have holes after 2.5 years of one child - so these are well worth the price! I also would prefer something 100% cotton but I do think as the previous comment stated that they wouldn't be as durable that way. I rated the price as the only "con" but really since I can use these for at least 2 kids then they are better priced in the long run and work better than the cheaper options I've tried. 5. Does a great job, but I wish they were 100% natural Review by Tara

I really do love these wipes. I have 3 kinds of cloth wipes and these are the ones I reach for when I've got a full diaper of runny breastmilk poop to clean up. However, my only disappointment is that I bought these thinking that they were 100% natural and when I received them I saw printed on the packaging 90% cotton, 10% polyester. I tried them anyway and, as I said, they really work great, but the cotton-poly blend keeps them from being a 5 star product for me.

A note from the bynature.ca family: Thanks for your comments! The addition of polyester is common in many diapering products to help increase their strength and durability due to the multiple washings they endure over the course of a few years. We do offer other 100% natural options in reusable wipes if this is a preference. We welcome the feedback! (Posted on 5/30/11)
